Maxi joined SOR in the spring of 2024 and was elected as President in the spring of 2025. She is in the class of 2027 majoring in Electrical Engineering and has done research with and TA'ed for the Engineering School. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing and performs in the Rocky Horror Picture Show at UVA. Fun fact: she has never had anything to drink other than water. 

Claire joined SOR in the spring of 2024 and was elected as Vice President in the spring of 2025. She is in the class of 2027 and is majoring in mathematics major, and she has a passion for sharing a love for math with everyone. When not in classes, she is an avid member of UVA's own Rocky Horror shadowcast production and a Brown College resident, and she can be found bouncing around Newcomb Hall. She also loves music, fantasy books, and playing games with friends. Fun fact: her favorite restaurant is Taco Bell!

CJ joined SOR in the spring of 2024 and was elected as Communications Chair in the spring of 2025. They were previously elected as Advocacy and Activism Chair in the fall of 2024. They are in the class of 2027 and are double-majoring in English with a concentration in literary prose and in psychology and minoring in women, gender, and sexuality studies. Outside of SOR, they are the president of UVA's Queer Student Union, a member of Students for Equity and Reform in Virginia, and a member of Hereford Residential College. In their free time, CJ enjoys writing, listening to music, playing oboe, and playing video games. Fun fact: they have met their favorite musician, Dorian Electra, but were too starstruck to even say hello. 

Kayla joined SOR in the fall of 2024 and was elected as as Programming Chair in the spring of 2025. She is in the class of 2026 and is majoring in Computer Science and Engineering. Outside of UVA, she enjoys baking, Sims, Zelda, Stardew, exploring local shops and cafes, and being outdoors! Fun fact: her favorite animals are cats and penguins, and she is a French toast enthusiast!

Alex joined SOR in the spring of 2024 and was elected as Treasurer in the spring of 2025. They are in the class of 2027 majoring in computer science and statistics. In their free time, they enjoy rock climbing, playing video games, especially Hollow Knight, and going on hikes. Fun fact: they are really good at air hockey.
