For our 2023 and 2024 Spring retreats, we worked with Power Safe Place Resource Center of Virginia. In 2023, we painted their newest location. In 2024, we helped set up their new resource center by building furniture and organizing clothing donations for the Closet for the Homeless. SOR thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to work with them and to contribute to the queer community in Front Royal, VA. 

For our 2025 Spring retreat, we volunteered with the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank in Verona. We helped sort donated produce and canned goods and assemble emergency food boxes. SOR is grateful that we were able to assist the Food Bank's mission.

For our 2025 Spring retreat, we volunteered with the Central Valley Habitat for Humanity's ReStore in Harrisonburg. At the ReStore, we cleaned, helped process donations, and reorganized supplies, shelves, and furniture. SOR appreciated this opportunity to help out the community and this wonderful organization.
